I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
—U.S. President Abraham Lincoln, Nov. 21, 1864 (letter to Col. William F. Elkins
The illusion of power
Nothing is as it seems in a world where our reality is controlled and manipulated by invisible hands and where true power is held by so few hidden mostly in the shadows. It is so damn convenient and conventional to assume that Donald Trump won the Presidency of the United States in revolt of the masses against the power elites that have ruled this nation at the very least since Woodrow Wilson was manipulated into the Oval Office by a small group of financiers who persuaded Teddy Roosevelt to run in order to split the majority's popular vote for Taft with a third party ticket. Wilson would be for war in Europe when it came and was committed to the formation of the Federal Reserve as well. However, as the comments above from Abraham Lincoln attest, the roots of the power of the corporate and financial elites were well visible already. His words have proven more than prophetic.
How a President Trump will really direct his government over the coming four years will become more apparent once we see who, in fact, he appoints to his cabinet and to the senior posts in his administration. Frankly, I share some trepidation with those already voicing some nervousness over the people that he may be relying on to guide his policies for the nation, particularly at the Treasury and State Departments, as well as on a Trump Security Council. The shift towards accommodation with the Clinton's and on Obamacare should give one pause. The expected massive build up of our armed forces and in the military budget belie a persona of a peaceful Trump or a much needed dismantling of the American Empire.
It also bears to remember that in the long game, that has been played over several generations, of achieving a One World Government, the power elites and transnationalists wet dream, there are to be expected detours in the process of achieving their goals. This is what the Fabians, Antonio Gramsci and the socialist progressives understood to be the long game, one where there was not so much of an elite directed traditional revolution as in the Russia of 1917 , but a guided and directed evolution that would lead to the conditions where the masses were not only ready for their virtual slavery, but embraced and demanded it. People are expendeble, even the presumed "leaders" of the mirage that is our political party system.
As I have said for many years now, there really is only one party in this nation; the corporatist/fascist party of the Empire of the United States. Factions can quibble over domestic policies and move back and forth between "socialist" and "free market" intonations but the beneficiaries of both factions are always the same: corporate America, the military industrial, financial, and the chemical/pharma transnational complexes. The people think they are being paid back for their votes, however, they rarely really ever are. Look at the stock market's response to a Trump win, this was not as much a surprise as we are led to believe, not remotely. Some investment banks made a killing driving the illiquid overnight futures markets down over 700 points only to have it rally boisterously when the sun rose and not look back over the rest of the week.
Trump Will Be President - How Alt-Market Predicted The Outcome Five Months In Advance
The bottom line is, Trump is on the way to the White House because the elites WANT HIM THERE. Now, many liberty proponents, currently in a state of elation, will either ignore or dismiss the primary reason why I was able to predict the Brexit and a Trump win. These will probably be some of the same people that were arguing with me only weeks ago that the elites would NEVER allow Trump in office.
So, to clarify:
Trump may or may not be aware that he and his conservative followers have been positioned into a a trap. We will have to wait and see how he behaves in office (and he WILL be in office, despite the claims of some that the elites will try to "stop him" before January). My primary point is THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER, at least not at this stage. The elites will initiate a final collapse of the global economy under Trump's watch (this will probably escalate over the course of the next six months), and they WILL blame him and conservatives in general. This IS going to happen. The elites play the long game, and so must we.
While millions of Americans are celebrating Trump's win today, I will remain even more vigilant. The party is just getting started, folks. Don't get too comfortable.
It’s not much of a secret that the economy is being artificially propped up. The Fed’s QE stimulus programs are no longer working. We know it can’t remain this way forever.
And even though everyone just feels so much relief that we’ve all been spared the nightmare of Hillary Clinton climbing into yet another seat of even more power, we can’t just assume we’re all going to skip off into happy magical fairy sprinkle land unscathed.
Sure, the people have spoken, but it’s only the illusion of power that we’re seeing play out now. The Powers That Shouldn’t Be running this insanity circus always have a plan… how else have they gotten away with controlling the globe for at least the past century?
After saying “I told ya so,” Smith issued a final warning that we shouldn’t be so naive:
While millions of Americans are celebrating Trump’s win today, I will remain even more vigilant. The party is just getting started, folks. Don’t get too comfortable.
Sadly, we can’t ignore decades of New World Order history here just because we’re relieved a psychopath like Hillary lost the election. Smith is right. We’d all do well to listen to him and get prepared for what’s coming.
2017 is going to be a bumpy ride.
