We do not need tears or sympathy or even prayers,” said Aleppo’s last remaining doctors in an open letter to US President Barack Obama. “We need action.”
No matter how the alternate universe is decimated by facts the majority of the citizens of the West, despite their overwhelming distrust of the media, will believe over time the persistent lie. For those who travel in the real world however, it is with macabre fascination that we watch the unfolding narrative, the same old patterns of propaganda, that are building the case for war.
It is, in many respects, simply astounding. The pages of the playbook are now well-worn and dingy, but that will not prevent the architects of mass delusion from infecting the minds of the needed majority of Americans and the citizens of our NATO vassal states from following the script. Here we have a letter to President Obama supposedly from a distinguished list of Syrian doctors in the midst of the carnage that we and our allies have funded, if not initiated, pleading for action to stop Assad’s forces, backed by the Russia and Iran, from the death spiral that is of our own doing. It makes every leading paper in the West. It is prominent in the broadcast news of every corporate media station. And not one of these purveyors of State propaganda investigates the letters validity, nor the names of the doctors that supposedly signed this letter. Well it turns out many of them are dead and a number of the signatories are radical Islamic terrorists.
Then we get Aleppo Boy, perfectly timed to generate an emotional response from the world against the atrocities of the Assad regime, pushing aside the barbarous acts of the Islamic insurgents funded and armed by Hillary’s America such as the recent beheading of a young boy by Al Nusra thugs. All of this is, of course, a lead in to war not just with Syria’s legitimate head of state, but with Russia. A Russia that has an absolute right to defend their ally and to have an active militarily presence in Syria as they have been invited to be there by the Assad regime, while America and the Islamic terrorists that are doing our bidding and that of the Gulf Sunni Arabs, are wrongfully attacking a sovereign nation, not for humanitarian reasons, but for pure political and economic gain.
The pattern repeats over and over again. There will be a continuing build up of horrors from Syria carried by our media, for when it comes to war there is no illusion of right or left, there are no Hillary or Trump shills, there is only the indoctrinated Pavlovian response of dogs servile to the Fascist Empire of The United States. Watch the news carefully as the propaganda roadmap to a coming war will become increasingly clear, at least for those whose minds are not fully embraced by the collective.
MSM promotes dodgy docs as well as child-exploitation in drive for war
Overshadowed by the recent attempts to create a faux media storm out of an unverified videoproduced by the pro-terrorist “Aleppo Media Center”, a recent article in the Guardian by Patrick Wintour reminds us that, when it comes to war-propaganda, the media doesn’t just do child-exploitation to order – it also promotes dodgy documents without question or analysis.
Wintour’s piece focuses on the – as usual – uncorroborated open letter to President Obama allegedly written by a group of doctors in terrorist-controlled eastern Aleppo, calling for US “intervention” to “stop the bombardment of hospitals in the besieged city by the Russian-backed Syrian air force”, and is another shining example of spineless obedience to an intellectually bankrupt narrative.
The fact six of these alleged doctors have signed with only their last name is maybe slightly odd, as is the fact six others are namesakes of prominent members of ISIS and al Qaeda, and one has the same name as a well-known shop. But until the signatories can be positively identified that’s about all we can say. Then again identifying them should not be too difficult, given that several of them identify as paediatricians and, as Moon of Alabama points out, the “last pediatrician” in rebel-held Aleppo was supposed to have been killed weeks ago. If these guys are the real deal they must have turned up in the rebel-held part of Aleppo since April, and they are likely the only paediatricians working there. How hard could it be to track them down? Has anyone tried?
Regardless of the deeper realities of the letter it’s the absolute abdication of scepticism by the Western media coverage that continues to be the real issue.
