In order to bring a nation to support the burdens of maintaining great military establishments, it is necessary to create an emotional state akin to war psychology. There must be the portrayal of external menace.
–John Foster Dulles Secretary of State in the Eisenhower administration.
The statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting the blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.
-– Mark Twain, “The Mysterious Stranger” (1910)
Henry Kissinger, “It is not a matter of what is true that counts, but a matter of what is perceived to be true.”
Lenin said it better: “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.”
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.
–Herman Goering. The Nuremberg Trials 1946
Our citizens should know the urgent facts…but they don’t because our media serves imperial, not popular interests. They lie, deceive, connive and suppress what everyone needs to know, substituting managed news misinformation and rubbish for hard truths…
America’s cadre of neocons, the backbone of the hidden state, along with the full might and support of the military industrial complex and the transnationalist “one world government” elites has been positioning this nation for war for years now. It is NATO, which is saying the United States, that has abrogated our promises to Russia following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
It is NATO and America that has positioned nuclear missiles and troops along the borders of Russia, in many cases in the recent convert nations into NATO that we had promised not to arm. It is America that created and surreptitiously defends ISIS. It is NATO member State Turkey that shot down a Russian jet and who has consistently provided arms and money for oil to the terrorist state. It is NATO and America that stands by the absurdity of its anti-Assad determination to allow terrorists to rule Syria because they are Sunni and they are likely to do our bidding. Putin watches a noose slowly closing around Russia’s neck, with the pose composed by our allies and led by American neocons.
The provocation, the baiting of the Russian Bear, has all been on intended to lead to either war or the overthrow of the Putin regime and it is well planned and calculated. Putin’s Russia, when it reasserted its independence from the Anglo-American financial and corporate interests that seek to devour the world became anathema to the West’s transnationalist technocracy.
So we reneged on our words that NATO would not expand into the former Soviet satellite states. We directly and blatantly instigated a coup in the Ukraine, just listen again to the leaked Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s tape of her conversations regarding who America supported for the soon-to-be new government that, with the help of embedded Neo-Nazi’s Gladio armies, cannot deny our responsibility. Nuland is also the wife of one of the loadstones of the Neocon world, Robert Kagan. This clearly, as intended, led to the retaking of the Crimea, which no State Department or CFR expert could not have forecasted would be the response given the strategic nature of Russia’s naval base there, let alone the Russian bloodshed two centuries ago and the majority Russian population.
Once the American coup succeeded in the Ukraine, it was also extremely likely that the Russians would seek to at least create an independent, non-NATO and EU aligned region in the eastern Ukraine. Thought it is rarely discussed in the Western pro-war media, this area is not only a majority Russian speaking it also served as a key industrial base for Russia’s military industrial complex and allowing the region to fall under the direct sway of America and NATO would clearly also have been predicted to lead to exactly the results that subsequently occurred.
It is surprising to see Germany revolting against the NATO war and American war drums, but they are the major “nation” most likely to take the brunt of our war of aggression against Putin. The question now is obvious, will this protest against “warmongering” on the part of the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier stand and will it result in a change in NATO and American war aims against Russia. To think that such a high ranking German minister made such accusations without the full support of his government is to express a lack of understanding of the remaining Prussian mentalities in that nation.
If Brexit happens, which the globalist ruling elites will not likely let occur even if another planned murder needs to occur to do it, war is the obvious solution to not only force Britain to remain within the EU, but also to accelerate the formation of a true European army and the merging of all the States (nation no longer applies) into one United States of Europe, the goal of the globalist elites for generations and a key, and final, stepping stone to the ruling oligarchs goals of creating One World Government.
If the “remains” win, which is likely, even if through fraud and pervasive total bullshit propaganda from every orifice of the establishment, perhaps war can be postponed, but then again maybe not. War may be the overpowering urge of America and the transnational, depopulation power elites and neocon military industrial complex. Russia, they believe must be taken out and reduced to a participant satellite state in the march to finance and crony-capitalist world domination.
Given the fragility of the financial and economic system and the imminent financial and economic collapse, war also is the likely and traditional response to rally the people during difficult times and redirect their anger and frustrations into martial blood lust, and not let the trundles roll down the corrupt canyons of DC and Wall Street.
The elites have never cared one smidgen about the loss of the lives of their own or other nations citizens, even those of allies, people are simply fodder for the machinery of State and the profits and power of the ruling aristocracy. Henry Kissinger, the grandmaster of death and imperial supremacy, wrote that the most bloody wars of the total bloodbath that was the Thirty Years War (1618-1648) was well worth it, for it resulted in the Peace of Westphalia and a new recognition of the rise of the nation versus the Kingdom or Principality that until then had fragmented Europe, between nation-states not princes, that was, for Kissinger, an evolutionary leap in State diplomacy between sovereign nations and well worth the total destruction of central Europe. This time, war is expected to lead to the dissolution of the nation-state and the rise of the global unified State.
As the revolt against the established order and the crony-capitalist, undemocratic Police State continues to percolate with surprising strength, war is also the proven method to institute draconian laws and policies of suppression and the destruction of liberty. Nothing has changed in human nature nor government and elites responses to threats against their very legitimacy and their existence.
The playbook remains the same, thus, despite the pushback from Germany, war is still the likely endgame. If so, it is coming sooner than one might think. A weakened Empire is a dangerous animal. An unrestrained global elite threatened with a loss of wealth, power and privilege is even more so.
Russia ‘mobilizing for war’ warns Canadian intelligence report | intelNews.org
A report by Canada’s primary intelligence agency warns in stark language that Russia is “retooling its military for a fight” and appears to be “mobilizing for war”.
A report by Canada’s primary intelligence agency warns in stark language that Russia is “retooling its military for a fight” and appears to be “mobilizing for war”. The classified report was accessed by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), the country’s state-owned broadcaster. According to the CBC, the document was produced by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), Canada’s primary national intelligence service. It is titled 2018 Security Outlook and is described by the CBC as a “distillation” of information from open sources and publicly available academic research, without input from internal CSIS assessments.
The 104-page report contends that, in the absence of any serious opposition inside Russia, the hardline nationalistic policies of Russian President Vladimir Putin are going unchallenged and becoming “more deeply entrenched”. When assessed collectively, Putin’s maneuvers in the area of national defense reveal that he is “retooling [the Russian] military for a fight”, claims the CSIS report. It goes on to add that Moscow “is not modernizing its military primarily to extend its capacity to pursue hybrid warfare”. The term ‘hybrid warfare’ is used by some experts to describe Russia’s utilization of irregular military tactics during its invasion and annexation of Crimea in 2014, and many believe that it points to the future evolution of Russian military thinking. But the CSIS document argues that President Putin is primarily modernizing Russian “conventional military capability on a large scale” and argues that “the state is mobilizing for war
We, the undersigned, are Russians living and working in the USA. We have been watching with increasing anxiety as the current US and NATO policies have set us on an extremely dangerous collision course with the Russian Federation, as well as with China. Many respected, patriotic Americans, such as Paul Craig Roberts, Stephen Cohen, Philip Giraldi, Ray McGovern and many others have been issuing warnings of a looming a Third World War. But their voices have been all but lost among the din of a mass media that is full of deceptive and inaccurate stories that characterize the Russian economy as being in shambles and the Russian military as weak—all based on no evidence. But we—knowing both Russian history and the current state of Russian society and the Russian military, cannot swallow these lies. We now feel that it is our duty, as Russians living in the US, to warn the American people that they are being lied to, and to tell them the truth.
Amendments to NDAA Expand Presidential War-making Power; Allow Congress to “Support” Rather Than “Declare” War
“Nearly two years into an executive war against ISIL, the unwillingness of this Congress to authorize the war not only shows a lack of resolve, it sets a dangerous precedent,” said Kaine, in a statement published on his webpage.
Two prominent members of the U.S. Senate have offered amendments to the Fiscal Year 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that would give the president sweeping new powers to prosecute the “war” against ISIL and other purported threats to the safety of the American people.
First, Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.) — a member of the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees — is sponsoring an amendment that would require the upcoming presidential administration to propose a rewritten and updated request for the Authorization of the Use of Military Force (AUMF) within two years.
As it stands today, President Obama has perpetuated the “War on Terror” on the AUMF passed in the days following the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Kaine’s second proposal is cosponsored by Senator Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and would, among other things, mandate that the renewed AUMF would “provide military support to regional partners in their battle to defeat ISIL” and establish the new AUMF as the “sole statutory authority for U.S. military action against ISIL.”
Huge Scandal Erupts Inside NATO: Alliance Member Germany Slams NATO “Warmongering” Against Russia
Suddenly everything is imploding for NATO when none other than the Foreign Minister of NATO member Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, criticized NATO for having a bellicose policy towards Russia, describing it as “Warmongering“collective defense” provision requires each NATO member country to join that NATO member country if it decides to strike back against the attacking country.
Specifically, NATO is alleging that because Russian hackers had copied the emails on Hillary Clinton’s home computer, this action of someone in Russia taking advantage of her having privatized her U.S. State Department communications to her unsecured home computer and of such a Russian’s then snooping into the U.S. State Department business that was stored on it, might constitute a Russian attack against the United States of America, and would, if the U.S. President declares it to be a Russian invasion of the U.S., trigger NATO’s mutual-defense clause and so require all NATO nations to join with the U.S. government in going to war against Russia, if the U.S. government so decides.
Also recall that the attack on the DNC servers which leaked the Democrats confidential files on Trump and Hillary donors lists were also blamed on “Russian government hackers”, before it emerged that the act was the result of one solitary non-Russian hacker, but not before the US once again tried to escalate a development which may have culminated with war with Russia!
Throughout all of these escalations, the popular narrative spun by the “democratic” media was a simple one: it was Russia that was provoking NATO, not NATO’s aggressive military actions on the border with Russia that were the cause of soaring geopolitical tension. Ignored in the fictional plot line was also Russia’s clear reaction to NATO provocations that it would “respond totally asymmetrically” an outcome that could in its worst outcome lead to millions of European deaths. Still, no matter the risk of escalation, one which just two weeks ago led to assessment that the “Risk Of Nuclear Dirty Bomb Surges On Poor US-Russia Relations“, NATO had to maintain its provocative attitude .

Late Thursday evening, the Wall Street Journal reported, 51 State Department officials signed a statement condemning U.S. policy in Syria in which they repeatedly call for “targeted military strikes against the Damascus government and urging regime change as the only way to defeat Islamic State.”
“In other words,” as Zero Hedge summarized, “over 50 top ‘diplomats’ are urging to eliminate [Syrian Pres. Bashar al] Assad in order to ‘defeat ISIS’, the same ISIS which top US ‘diplomats’ had unleashed previously in order to … eliminate Assad.”
This gordian knot created by United States foreign policy — and intensified by that same policy — means not only could war with Syria be on the horizon, but if that happens, the U.S. could be facing a far more serious threat.
While discontented officials used what’s known as the “Dissent Channel” — “an official forum that allows employees to express opposing views,” State Department spokesman John Kirby explained in the WSJ — Saudi government officials employed more direct means to press their interests with the U.S. in Syria.
In a meeting with President Obama on Friday, Saudi foreign minister Adel al Jubair asserted, “Saudi Arabia supports a more aggressive military approach in Syria to get Assad to agree to a political solution,” as CBS’ Mark Knoller tweeted.
