If there is no struggle, there is no progress… power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will.
– Frederick Douglass, 1857
We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent.
James Warburg, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Senate Foreign Relations Committee on February 17, 1950
The government of the Western nations, whether monarchical or republican, had passed into the invisible hands of a plutocracy, international in power and grasp. It was, I venture to suggest, this semi-occult power which … pushed the masses of the American people into the cauldron of World War I.”
Major General John Frederick Charles Fuller, a British military historian, said in 1941
In 1966, Dr. Carroll Quigley, a professor of history at the Foreign Service School of Georgetown University, published a 1311-page book called Tragedy and Hope: A History of the World in Our Time. On page 950 he says:
“There does exist, and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates, to some extent, in the way the radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so. I know of the operations of this network because I have studied it for twenty years and was permitted for two years, in the early 1960’s, to examine its papers and secret records. I have no aversion to it or to most of its aims and have, for much of my life, been close to it and to many of its instruments … my chief difference of opinion is that it wishes to remain unknown, and I believe its role in history is significant enough to be known … because the American branch of this organization (sometimes called the ‘Eastern Establishment’) has played a very significant role in the history of the United States in the last generation.”
Events are accelerating seemingly out of control. The end will very likely be the same, whether you are aware of the truth or still hiding deep within the haze induced by the propaganda that engulfs us all. The global coordinated move towards a cashless world is being proffered as glorious process that is designed to eliminate fraud, the drug cartels, reduce transaction costs and theft, all for the sake of bettering the lives of the citizens of the globe, but it is a deadly Trojan Horse, designed by the banking and government power elites as final step in total control of everyone on the planet. It is designed solely for the purpose of enslaving humanity as servants of those in now in power.
It has been a stated covert goal of the transnational power elites for generations, but few bothered to pay attention. For most the machinations of such a small minority of the powerful in finance, industry and government stands so diametrically opposed to the principles most of us adhere to that we find it impossible to believe. That is because most us have not been burned by the flames of moral and ethical corruption and have not been infected with the overweening desire to control the world.
This is the stuff of the Illuminati. Regardless of the propaganda spewing from the likes of MTV, where most of the idiots of the entertainment world are creating a distracting comedy about a philosophy, if not an organization that is very real, it has always been essential for the One World visionaries that the world have one currency. Now with universal digitization, that it be a cashless currency, controlled and monitored by the central authorities.
This movement is likely unstoppable now. If successful, a cashless world seals our fate and allows for the final assault on what remains of our privacy, our rights and our freedom. In essence, we will be totally screwed.
Top Libertarian Warns of Martial Law, Cashless Society – Lew Rockwell
Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers has come out in favor of eliminating the $100 bill. Following on the European Central Bank’s decision to scrap the €500 note, it is clear that the international war on cash is about to intensify. In the United States the lowest coin denominations, the penny and nickel, are increasingly devalued by inflation and likely to be eliminated in the near future. With the highest denomination bills now facing scrutiny as well, cash is under attack from both ends. As usual, the opponents of cash trot out the usual bogeyman in attacking the use of cash.
Summers refers to Luxembourg as one of the defenders of the €500 note, characterizing the country as one “giving comfort to tax evaders, money launderers, and other proponents of bank secrecy…” God forbid we peons should be allowed to keep our money safe from the greedy hands of government officials. The real purpose of the war on cash is not to combat criminals or terrorists but to ease the government’s ability to plunder its citizenry.
As Joseph Salerno has observed, the elimination of physical cash makes it easier for the state to keep track of private persons, and it assists central banks in efforts to punish saving and expand the money supply by implementing negative interest rate schemes.
A third advantage of the elimination of physical cash would be to more easily control people and potential dissidents through the freezing of their bank accounts. As William Grigg recently reported, federal regulators have the ability to freeze the bank accounts and credit card accounts of citizens, even without charging them with a crime or providing any other due process:
For having the courage to come forward and expose the drone program for the indiscriminate murder that it is, 4 vets are under attack from the government they once served. The U.S. Government failed to deter them through threats of criminal prosecution, and clumsy attempts to intimidate their families.
Now four former Air Force drone operators-turned-whistleblowers have had their credit cards and bank accounts frozen, according to human rights attorney Jesselyn Radack. “My drone operators went public this week and now their credit cards and bank accounts are frozen,” Radack lamented on her Twitter feed … This was done despite the fact that none of them has been charged with a criminal offense…
The War On Cash Is Advancing On All Fronts: “First They Came For The Pennies…” | Zero Hedge
In a cashless society there will be nothing stopping banks or other financial mediators from taking a small piece of every single transaction. They would also be able to use – and potentially abuse – the massive deposits of data they collect on their customers’ payment behavior.
This information is of huge interest and value to retail marketing departments, other financial institutions, insurance companies, government’s, secret services, and a host of other organizations. Another very important perk of cash is that it significantly limits central banks’ ability to continue conducting arguably the greatest financial heist of the modern age, i.e., negative interest rate policy (NIRP).
The only way that central banks can maintain negative interest rates ad infinitum is by abolishing cash altogether, as the Bank of England chief economist Andrew Hadlaine all but admitted.
As long as cash exists, there’s no way of preventing depositors from doing the logical thing – i.e. taking their money out of the bank and parking it where the erosive effects of NIRP can’t reach it.
We Can’t Rein In the Banks If We Can’t Pull Our Money Out of Them
Martin Armstrong summarizes the headway being made to ban cash, and argues that the goal of those pushing a cashless society is to prevent bank runs … and increase their control:
The central banks are … planning drastic restrictions on cash itself. They see moving to electronic money will first eliminate the underground economy, but secondly, they believe it will even prevent a banking crisis. This idea of eliminating cash was first floated as the normal trial balloon to see how the people take it. It was first launched by Kenneth Rogoff of Harvard University and Willem Buiter, the chief economist at Citigroup.
Their claims have been widely hailed and their papers are now the foundation for the new age of Economic Totalitarianism that confronts us. Rogoff and Buiter have laid the ground work for the end of much of our freedom and will one day will be considered the new Marx with hindsight.
They sit in their lofty offices but do not have real world practical experience beyond theory. Considerations of their arguments have shown how governments can seize all economic power are destroy cash in the process eliminating all rights. Physical paper money provides the check against negative interest rates for if they become too great, people will simply withdraw their funds and hoard cash.
Furthermore, paper currency allows for bank runs. Eliminate paper currency and what you end up with is the elimination of the ability to demand to withdraw funds from a bank.
